PGMS 5th Graders enjoyed visiting Prairie Grove Battlefield Park. We toured the various buildings and learned interesting historical facts and purposes of each one. Students also enjoyed a nature walk while discussing ecosystems located in our local environment. The trip was topped off with snow cones and making memories with friends!!

Special guest Larami Burge from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission led the GT classes in a lesson on alligators in Arkansas! The students got to pet the alligator and design their own enclosure for the animal.

Fry and Dickey’s 4th grade social studies classes stepped into the world of business today with a Makers Market activity! Students simulated running their own businesses, making economic choices, and experiencing how a social economy works—all while having fun and learning valuable life skills. 💰📚🛍️

Families, here is a reminder about upcoming testing dates at PGMS. We will iReady test this week on Tuesday, April 22 and Wednesday, April 23. We will conduct ATLAS testing from May 5-8. Students must be present for ALL testing dates in order to be eligible for the reward field trip. Please call the office with any questions!
