Get ready!! One School, One Book is kicking off on February 6! We are so excited to reveal this year's title next week!

Prairie Grove Families, due to inclement weather, all Prairie Grove schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 28. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. With hazardous conditions on several bus routes and sidewalks, and parking lots still unsafe for travel, it is not feasible to reopen schools at this time. We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to stay safe and warm.

Congratulations to our young artists! During the last rotation, art teacher Sarah Walters helped several classes submit entries to the exhibition at The Windgate Museum of Art in Conway. Two PGMS students — 5th graders Hendrix Orona and Sullivan Hudgens — had their artwork selected to be enlarged and displayed in this juried exhibit. They will be honored at a reception the first weekend in February. We are so proud of their creativity and hard work! 🎨

Our fifth-grade students enjoyed our visit and presentation on water conservation by the ladies from the Beaver Water District and the Cooperative Extension Service. They had a great time seeing how pollutants harm our drinking water and the amount of effort it takes to clean our water.

Our School Board members visited Prairie Grove Middle School this morning for a campus tour and an inside look at teaching and learning in action. They heard updates on student growth from Principal Mrs. Bramwell and Instructional Facilitator Mrs. Ashworth, and enjoyed a fantastic presentation from our Trailblazer students — Troy Giddens, Paislee Loughridge, Karyme Osorio-Ramirez, and Eva Mae Spurlock.
We’re proud of the incredible work happening at PGMS each day!
