Congratulations to our Prairie Grove 5th graders who excelled in this year’s ELKS Americanism Essay Contest! 🇺🇸
Students were asked to reflect—in 300 words or less—on what service to their country means to them. Competing against students from Springdale, Fayetteville, Elkins, Greenland, West Fork, and Lincoln, Prairie Grove proudly brought home two overall awards!
1st Place – Brooklyn Ride
2nd Place – Kinsley Dersam
Each winner received a monetary award, certificate, and American flag, and their essays will now advance to the state competition. We are so proud of these students for representing Prairie Grove with excellence! 🇺🇸✨

Today is School Security Officer Appreciation Day! Thank you, Officer Waddell, for keeping our school safe and secure!

Our spring book fair is coming up February 16-20. As with our previous fair, this one will be cashless! Hosting a cashless fair has many benefits, and is easier overall for families and our school. Please visit our school’s book fair homepage to set up your student’s e-wallet. If you had leftover funds from the fall book fair, you will still need to set up an e-wallet for this fair, but you can easily transfer your student's funds. Other accepted forms of payment are Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay and credit cards.
Please email Mrs. Tibbit with any book fair or e-wallet questions!
We also need more volunteers! If you would like to help out at the book fair, please sign up using the Sign Up Genius link.
