Yesterday was the 4A State Track Championships in Heber Springs. The kids persevered through rain throughout the meet and a lightning delay! Here are the notable results:
400m--Kaydence Jinks, 3rd place
800m--Esther Hale, 4th place, 2:34.20 New Prairie Grove school record
300m hurdles--Kole Hawley, 8th place
4x200 relay--9th place, 1:52.34, New Prairie Grove school record
4x400 relay--5th place
Relay team is Kayla Chandler, Brooklynne Stovall, Esther Hale, Kaydence Jinks
Luke Bannon (100m) and Connor McCarty (400m) also competed.

At this month’s board meeting, we had the privilege of recognizing several outstanding members of our Prairie Grove community!
Congratulations to our District Employees of the Month: Amy Teague, Casey Glasscock, Krista Dersam, and Glory Stiller! Each of these incredible individuals was honored for their dedication and impact on PGSD and received a gift from Grand Savings Bank and Arvest Bank in appreciation of their hard work. 👏
Tracie Ashley also recognized our National History Day winners! These PGJHS students earned top honors at the state level, with several advancing to the National Competition in June at the University of Maryland. We’re so proud of their hard work and achievements!🏆
And finally, Taylor Bayley introduced our PGHS Drama students and their upcoming production of Grease! Don’t miss this fun, high-energy performance on April 26—come support our talented students! 🎭
