Three of our junior high artists will be featured in the Windgate Museum exhibition on February 7 at Hendrix College in Conway! Congrats to Liam Stephens, Fisher Reynolds, and Tucker Harris, whose creative robot artworks were selected for display. We’re proud of their imagination and craftsmanship! 🤖🎨

Congratulations to our young artists! During the last rotation, art teacher Sarah Walters helped several classes submit entries to the exhibition at The Windgate Museum of Art in Conway. Two PGMS students — 5th graders Hendrix Orona and Sullivan Hudgens — had their artwork selected to be enlarged and displayed in this juried exhibit. They will be honored at a reception the first weekend in February. We are so proud of their creativity and hard work! 🎨

The Prairie Grove Schools playgrounds are open for public use when school is not in session. We love seeing families enjoy our outdoor spaces!
On school days:
• Middle School Playground: Open after 4:00 PM until dark
• Elementary Playground: Open after 6:00 PM (following the after-school program) until dark
When school is not in session, playgrounds are open during daylight hours.
Please remember that children must be supervised by an adult and cameras are in use on school grounds.
Enjoy the fresh air, movement, and family time!

HAC Update: The state has activated two-factor authentication for Home Access Center (HAC). They are currently working on bug fixes related to this update. If you experience issues logging in, please be patient as these fixes are completed. Thank you for your understanding.

December Board Report

Bus Tracking App Now Available for PGSD Families
Parents and guardians can now sign up for the EZA2B bus tracking app to see when students scan on and off the bus, track bus location in real time, and receive notifications when the bus is approaching their stop.
Sign up here: https://routing.app-garden.com/pgsdar#
Watch for an email from “Pathwise K-12” to verify your account and complete setup.

Earlier this semester, we began enforcing QR code bus passes as we prepared to launch a new transportation tool for families. Thank you to our students and parents—the transition has gone very smoothly!
📱 Parent App Launching Next Week
We are excited to share that the EZA2B parent app will be activated early next week. When it goes live, you’ll receive an email from “Pathwise K-12” asking you to verify your email and activate your account. We’ll also send a reminder mid-week to make sure everyone has what they need.
🔒 Your Child’s Information Is Secure
The app works much like HAC—parents/guardians will only see information for their own children. Through the app, you’ll be able to view when your student scans on and off the bus, and you can even set notifications for when the bus is approaching your stop.
🚌 Route Improvements Coming January 6
Thanks to the hiring of additional bus drivers, we’re able to adjust routes to reduce overcrowding and cut down on double routes. These changes will begin after winter break on January 6. Families affected by the adjustments will receive specific messages with updated pick-up and drop-off times.
These updates will impact:
• Students on the Hippo/Moose route — this route will be split into two separate routes
• Students living in Prairie Meadows subdivision — these students will move to a different route with earlier pick-up/arrival times
Thank you for your continued support as we work to make transportation safer, smoother, and more efficient for all PGSD students.
— John Ahrends, Director of Security & Transportation

Thank you to the Arvest Foundation for their generous support of Prairie Grove School District!
Today, the Foundation awarded funding that will benefit students across all campuses:
$1,000 Jr. Bank Board Scholarship
$14,150 in general scholarships supporting low-income college-bound students and those pursuing trade/vocational programs
$1,600 for High School Library breakout kits
$1,000 for science engagement materials for 5th–6th grade
$1,250 for Middle School art chomp saws
$3,000 for an Elementary Book Vending Machine
We appreciate Arvest Foundation’s ongoing commitment to Prairie Grove students and their success.

Their hard work and commitment have led them to this achievement. We know they will make a positive impact on the lives of those they care for. 💛
Welcome to the healthcare community!

Our School Board members visited Prairie Grove Middle School this morning for a campus tour and an inside look at teaching and learning in action. They heard updates on student growth from Principal Mrs. Bramwell and Instructional Facilitator Mrs. Ashworth, and enjoyed a fantastic presentation from our Trailblazer students — Troy Giddens, Paislee Loughridge, Karyme Osorio-Ramirez, and Eva Mae Spurlock.
We’re proud of the incredible work happening at PGMS each day!
