PGJH Families: In accordance with State Law, during the month of April the PGSD Nursing staff will be screening 8th grade students for BMI. Students will be weighed and measured, but will not be told the results. Parents may request the results by submitting a written request. If a guardian/parent objects to the screening, a 4.41F form must be submitted to the student's school (must indicate BMI on form under other). Verbal objections cannot be accepted. Deadline for forms is April 12th. The 4.41F form can be found on the district website by going to pgtigers.org > Menu > Departments+ > Human Resources > Personnel Policies > 2023-2024 > Section 4 > 4.41F - Objections to Physical Examinations or Screenings.pdf. You can return this form to the PGJH office or email to kellye.lamb@pgtigers.org anytime before April 12th. As always, feel free to call the school if you have any questions. Thanks so much!
