Prairie Grove High School is very excited about the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th! The state has donated solar eclipse viewing glasses so the district can observe during the eclipse. Your child can experience the eclipse safely, but it is CRITICAL that they protect their eyes at all times with the proper solar filters. We will go to the parking lot from 1:45-2:00 on this day to view the eclipse with our special glasses. Students will be escorted by their teachers.
Should you choose to opt your child out of this event, they can stay inside during this time. All you need to do is have your child pick up an opt out form in the front office, sign it, and return the form to the front office by Monday, April 8th. Thank you!
Happy Spring Break!
