Ensuring the safety of our students is our top priority. Unfortunately, we have had two incidents over the past year regarding students' bikes and cars while crossing the street. To prevent further accidents, we are implementing new safety protocols for all students crossing at crosswalks on campus.
Effective immediately, all students riding bikes or scooters must dismount and walk across the crosswalks. We have already met with all bike and scooter riders to communicate this new rule. Additionally, our maintenance and transportation department are working together to ensure new signage will be placed at all crosswalks around the school campus to remind students of this requirement as soon as possible.
We appreciate your support in reinforcing these new safety measures with your children to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Final spring semester grades have been loaded into Home Access Center. Find them by clicking on Grades and then the Report Card Tab. You can also view your student's up to date transcript on the Transcript Tab. If you would like a paper copy of your student's Report Card mailed home please email mandy.hunt@pgtigers.org or call 479-846-4212. Those requests will be mailed early next week.
If you find your student lacking on credits because of failing grade(s) or excessive absences, the best way for them to get caught up is with Summer School. Summer School begins June 4th. There is a cost of 25$ per semester class attempted. Here is a link with more information: https://sites.google.com/pgtigers.org/pghs-summer-school/home
Please note: we do not require summer school, nor do we contact students/parents individually to recommend summer school. It is up to the student/parent to check grades to see progress and decide for themselves if that is the best course of action.
If you have specific questions about your student feel free to email one of the counselors: current 9th & 10th graders - holly.styles@pgtigers.org and current 11th graders - mandy.hunt@pgtigers.org or call 479-846-4212
During the summer, PGHS will observe the district's summer office schedule. Someone will be in the office Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm. The office will be closed on Fridays.
Have a great summer. We look forward to seeing everyone back on August 20th!
