In response to your feedback from our communications survey last spring and the overwhelming desire for organization of platforms, we’ve streamlined our communication for all schools into ONE PLATFORM! Say “hello” to two-way messaging and classroom announcements in the PG Tigers app! With the new Rooms feature, our district app just got even better. Parents and guardians, check your email for instructions on how to sign up and access these exciting new features. Our goal is for you to be able to get familiar with the app before school begins. NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
Final spring semester grades have been loaded into Home Access Center. Find them by clicking on Grades and then the Report Card Tab. You can also view your student's up to date transcript on the Transcript Tab. If you would like a paper copy of your student's Report Card mailed home please email mandy.hunt@pgtigers.org or call 479-846-4212. Those requests will be mailed early next week. If you find your student lacking on credits because of failing grade(s) or excessive absences, the best way for them to get caught up is with Summer School. Summer School begins June 4th. There is a cost of 25$ per semester class attempted. Here is a link with more information: https://sites.google.com/pgtigers.org/pghs-summer-school/home Please note: we do not require summer school, nor do we contact students/parents individually to recommend summer school. It is up to the student/parent to check grades to see progress and decide for themselves if that is the best course of action. If you have specific questions about your student feel free to email one of the counselors: current 9th & 10th graders - holly.styles@pgtigers.org and current 11th graders - mandy.hunt@pgtigers.org or call 479-846-4212 During the summer, PGHS will observe the district's summer office schedule. Someone will be in the office Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm. The office will be closed on Fridays. Have a great summer. We look forward to seeing everyone back on August 20th!

We are asking those planning to attend our graduation ceremony on Saturday, if you plan to be on the new turf at all, to please avoid wearing high heels, stilettos, pumps, or any other shoe with pointy heel. Shoes with a block heel or wedge are fine to wear. Thank you for understanding.

Prairie Grove High School is very excited about the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th! The state has donated solar eclipse viewing glasses so the district can observe during the eclipse. Your child can experience the eclipse safely, but it is CRITICAL that they protect their eyes at all times with the proper solar filters. We will go to the parking lot from 1:45-2:00 on this day to view the eclipse with our special glasses. Students will be escorted by their teachers. Should you choose to opt your child out of this event, they can stay inside during this time. All you need to do is have your child pick up an opt out form in the front office, sign it, and return the form to the front office by Monday, April 8th. Thank you!
