The Prairie Grove School District has learned that one member of our school family has tested positive for COVID-19. The parents of all students who were identified as probable close contacts have been notified. After consultation with the Arkansas Department of Health, the person who tested positive is in isolation and all probable close contacts have been quarantined for 14 calendar days as per the Arkansas Department of Health requirements. At this time one elementary classroom has been temporarily closed. Our elementary school is also taking more precautions for health safety with the students and faculty working on-site. A probable close contact is defined as a person who has been within six feet or less of a known positive for a cumulative time of 15 minutes or more within a 24 hour period. This is being posted to help keep our patrons informed.
The Boys and Girls Basketball Parent Meeting will be held this coming Monday, November 2nd at 6:00 in the Arena. Face coverings will be required and social distancing will be maintained.
There will not be a Black/Gold Basketball Game this year. 20-21 Schedule will be online next week.
