Friendly Reminder: If your child attended PG Pre-K as a 3-year-old this year, there’s no need to register for the 2025-26 school year—they’re already enrolled!
However, if your child will not be attending the 4-year-old Pre-K class next year, please notify Mrs. Townsend or Mrs. Berry as soon as possible so another child can have the opportunity.
Thank you!

Last week, Dr. Prado from Buchanan Street Family Dentistry visited our Pre-K class to teach students about the importance of flossing! Using blocks, playdough, and yarn, he gave a fun and hands-on lesson on how to keep our teeth clean and healthy. 🦷 ✨ Thank you, Dr. Prado, for helping our little learners build great dental habits!

WE ARE 100 DAYS BRIGHTER AT PG PRE-K!
This week we celebrated 100 days of fun and learning in Pre-K. We made 100 day snacks, built with 100 objects, practiced counting and making sets of 10, and shared ideas about what we wish we had 100 of or what we would buy with $100.

We are learning about community helpers and how police officers help in the community. Officers Epps and Rollins shared with students what they do as SROs, and they gave each student a sticker badge. Thank you Officer Epps and Officer Rollins for keeping us safe at school!

Today in Pre-K the kids got to practice speaking to an audience using loud, clear voices and good eye contact. They talked about items brought from home for Show and Tell.

Lots of fun today in the new sandbox! 🏖️

Employees from Walmart visited Prairie Grove Pre-K on Monday, bringing holiday cheer by reading Christmas stories and delivering gifts to our students. Thank you for spreading joy this season! 🎄🎁📚

Some of our preschool students brought holiday cheer to the senior center today! They sang festive Christmas songs and handed out beautiful ornaments they made with love. Seeing their smiles light up the room was the perfect way to spread the holiday spirit!

November Staff of the Month: Kathy Gray
Ms. Kathy Gray, our phenomenal preschool teacher, brings creativity, patience, and compassion to her classroom every day. Her students thrive under her care as she finds fun and innovative ways to inspire young minds to learn and grow. Ms. Gray’s kindness and dedication make a lasting impact, and we are so blessed to have her at Prairie Grove Pre-K!

During our break, November 25-29, we count our blessings. Happy Thanksgiving from the Prairie Grove Pre-K staff. We are thankful for the time we get to spend with your children.

Follow-up: No activities after school today includes The After Program therefore arrangements will need to be made for those students to be picked up at the time of school dismissal today. We apologize for any inconvenience. Stay safe!

Due to forecasted inclement weather, ALL after-school activities for today (November 4th) will be canceled. The Black & Gold basketball game will be postponed to a later date.

According to forecasts, we are expecting unstable weather patterns this afternoon. We are monitoring this situation to determine if any changes in dismissal are needed and if there will be a need to postpone the Black & Gold Basketball game this afternoon. Updates will be communicated via our app & website as we get more information.

After learning the song "5 Little Pumpkins Sitting on the Gate", students got to build their own gates and test them to see if they would hold 5 pumpkins.
