PGMS: This Friday is the last day to have immunizations taken care of. Students who are not in compliance with either having the immunization or showing an appointment scheduled, will not be allowed to come back to school starting Monday Oct. 7th. Thank you.
PGMS will have the first Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting of the year Oct. 1 at 1:00 in the MS Library for all who can and attend. If you have questions or concerns, please forward them to me at shayne.taylor@pgtigers.org and I will be glad to address it.
PGMS: Please return free and reduced lunch forms to the office ASAP if you have not. It is totally confidential as to who qualifies. Many do not know that it is very beneficial to our school to get these back. Some of our federal funding is tied to these forms. With all the budget cuts, this is money we do not want to leave unclaimed. If you have any questions or concerns, call 846-4220 and ask for Mr. Taylor.

5/6 grades will have a dance this Friday at 2:00 in the cafeteria. Cost is $2 and there will be concessions available for $1 each (drinks and snacks). Hope to see everyone there before our first long break! Those who choose not to attend will be able to stay in another class.

7th and 8th Talent show auditions will start Monday.
Those who have submitted a Talent Show form should be ready to start auditions tomorrow during Encore. If you have props you need, you may bring them to Mr. Taylor's office tomorrow morning until your audition. I will have a piano or drums for those acts who listed it.

We realize that it is beginning to warm up, so here is a reminder of our dress code.
* No undergarments showing
* No tank tops (There is not a three finger rule.)
* Shorts must be a 5" inseam or 6" from the knee (spandex can be worn under shorts for length)
* No large arm hole openings (Jerseys can be worn w/ undershirt)

Middle School parents, next week we are having Parent Teacher Conferences!
Next Thursday, one week from today, 6th and 7th grade will NOT have school.
5th and 8th grade will have school all week.
8th Grade parent teacher conferences will be drop in and located the cafeteria from 3:15-6:30 Tuesday and Thursday.
6th and 7th Grade will be by appointment. You should have received a letter home this week. Please return it as soon as possible.

- Both Tuesday and Thursday, 6th grade will be in their classrooms.
5th Grade is by appointment as well and will be located in their classrooms.
On the Incentive Day letter, please indicate which day(s) you plan to take on the letter. If you qualify for all three days, nothing is needed. Reminder that our first Incentive Day is next Friday, so the deadline is this Friday Jan. 11th, to take that day.
