Last week, Prairie Grove High School FFA members were recognized for their outstanding achievements during the 2024-2025 school year at the 98th Arkansas FFA State Convention, held April 21–23 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Several students earned high honors for their dedication, leadership, and excellence in agricultural education:
Aubree Wood and Rylie Bignar each received Arkansas FFA Foundation Scholarships.
Emarie Guenther was named the High Individual in the Agricultural Communications Career Development Event (CDE).
The Agricultural Communications Team and the Livestock Judging Team both received CDE Awards for their strong performances.
Rylie Bignar earned additional recognition, including a High Individual award in Livestock Judging, a Proficiency Award, selection as a finalist for the Stars Over Arkansas award, and participation on the State Audit Committee.
Aubree Wood, Emma Kelley, Kelsie Shackelford, and Rylie Bignar each earned the prestigious State FFA Degree, marking a significant milestone in their FFA careers.
Kelsie Shackelford was also recognized for her service with the Courtesy Corps.
These honors reflect a year of hard work, growth, and commitment by Prairie Grove’s FFA members. Congratulations to all students and their advisors for representing PGHS with pride and excellence on the state stage!
