Limited bus service will begin Thursday November 12, 2020 for onsite instruction at the High School only. The following bus routes 5, 6, 8, 9 & 14 will not run until further notice due to shortage of bus drivers, and bus drivers being quarantined. The animal route names are: 5-Pig, 6-Bear, 8-Elephant, 9-Turtle, and 14-Moose. Again, bus routes 5, 6, 8, 9 & 14 will not be running.
The district is planning to run the following bus routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 12, & 13. The animal route names/driver names are: 1-Rabbit/Olan Vickery, 2-Duck/Sharon Hays, 3-Horse/Samantha Molz, 4-Cow/Rich McNatt, 7-Cat/Brad Sugg, 10-Dog/John Ahrends, 11-Giraffe/Clint Hale, 12-Hippo/David Hays, 13-Alligator/Mia Whitley
More parents will be transporting students to school, therefore expect heavier traffic. We will reinstate regular bus service as soon as possible.
Bus drivers are in short supply here and statewide. Background check, CDL, physical, passenger endorsement, and air brakes endorsement are minimum requirements to be a bus driver.
