8th graders, Ella Davis, Clara Hale, and McKinlee Bolinger, attended the National NHD Competition at the University of Maryland in early June 2026, where they presented their group Documentary Film entitled: "1972 Problems and 1872 Jails": Johnny Cash, The Sound of Reform, and the Revolution of the U.S. Prison System" scored in the TOP 20 at the National Competition.
We are so proud of these girls and of their dedication to their National History Day project.
