Prairie Grove Elementary School teacher, Nicki Hutchens, was gifted $500 for supplies for her classroom by Arvest Bank as part of its “We Love Teachers” initiative. Representatives from Arvest presented Hutchens with the award at a monthly student character assembly at PGES on Friday, September 29. Arvest started “We Love Teachers” to address public school teachers’ classroom needs and has awarded over $320,000 to more than 640 teachers in the six years of the initiative.
