MORNING DROP-OFF PROCEDURES
If you drive your child to school each morning, we ask that you use our vehicle drop-off line and follow these procedures to help us make this process as safe and efficient as possible.
NOTE: Ed Staggs Rd. is a one-way street from 7:15am-8:00am and 2:45pm-3:30pm
- 1.Vehicles should line up in right lane only.
- 2.Have your child ready to exit the car.
- 3.Drivers should pull up to the car directly in front of them so not to leave a big space in between vehicles.
- 4.Students should exit vehicles in the unloading zone only.
- 5.Students should exit on the curb-side only.
- 6.After exiting their vehicles, students should stay on the sidewalk and not attempt to return to their vehicles.
- 7.Parents should be alert and watch for students who run back to
- their vehicles.
- 8.Parents should not go around stopped vehicles. They should wait until the cars in front of them pull forward.
- 9.Students should walk directly into the FEMA Gym.
- 10. Students who plan to eat breakfast at school should be dropped off no later than 7:45.
